The thought-provoking photographs and life stories of 36 individuals provide exhibition viewers with a uniquely powerful way to connect with and relate to Tel Avivis living their ordinary lives. The exhibition evokes curiosity, compassion, and an abiding sense of the connectedness between Humans. The stories and pictures really show the amazing diversity and vibrant civil society we have In Israel.
About the Photographer
Erez Kaganovitz
Photographer, native Tel Avivi, and speaker, Erez Kaganovitz is the human behind the Humans of Tel Aviv and other projects. Through his work, Erez has helped bridge a cultural gap in society both within and outside of Israel. His compelling work brings understanding, emotional connection, and unity to many around the world.
The JCC Israel 75 event is a celebration of Israeli culture and its rich history. This year's event is especially meaningful as it marks 75 years since the founding of the state of Israel. To commemorate this occasion, the JCC is hosting a variety of exciting activities, including an exclusive art exhibit, a VR experience, food, music, dancing and more.
Enjoy a Unique VR Experience
In addition to the art exhibit, visitors to the event can also enjoy a unique VR experience, which takes them on a virtual tour of some of Tel Aviv. Allowing everyone to see and read the story of Humans in Tel Aviv, to then “become a human of Tel Aviv”. You could also take home one of our prizes from The Israeli Race VR game.
What Else?
So glad you asked, this day the JCC will be curating our own shuk, offering a farmers market style feel with recipes of Israeli meals you can then make at home with your family.
The event is designed to be fun and family-friendly, with plenty of activities for people of all ages to enjoy. Whether you're a kid or just young at heart, there's sure to be something to keep you entertained throughout the day. We are so excited to see you on June 4th to celebrate the importance of Israel’s establishment.
